The Declining Employment Rate of
Ihe employment rate of university graduates is declining nowadays. Reading mis chart, we can find that the employment rate of university graduates has declined gradually. In 2002. it was 80 percent; and in 2004. it decreased to nearly 75 percent, and in 2006. the rate dropped to no more man 70 percent.

Obviously, it is more and more difficult for a university graduate to find a job today. There are several reasons for mis. For one thing, the number of university graduates is increasing every year, while mere are not so many job vacuums for them. For another, many gradustes want to find a well-paid and
comfortable job. but it is always not practical. Finally, many employers think that the students who have just left from university are in lack of working experience, so they don't want to hire them.

Therefore, as university students, in order to find a job after graduation, we should be more practical.and not only learn as much knowledge as possible, but also take all kinds of opportunities to gain experience.
